Quiet Room

The Quiet Room is a calm, sensory-friendly space where you can step away from the noise and crowds whenever you need a break. This year’s room will be located on the ground floor in the Palexo’s Bitacora room (you can ask the event organizers or the person in the reception desk for directions).

The room will have two zones:

• 🌿 Decompression Zone: This is meant to be a calmer space with couches. Here you will find some plushies, soft fidgets, ear protectors, and eye masks.
• 🎨 Activity Zone: This section will be at the tables and have coloring sheets, writing and drawing prompts cards, sensory grounding cards, and more active fidgets for when you need something to do with your hands or could use something to distract you.

A few things to keep in mind:

• The Quiet Room is for resting, not for working, meetings, or calls.
• Please no talking in this room and be mindful of others in the space.
• Basic headphones will be provided, but feel free to bring your own noise-cancelling ones if you prefer.
• Sanitizing wipes will be provided in the room. Please wipe down all shared items after use.
• If the room is busy, please be mindful of others who may also need the space.
